Premier Scribes, LLC is a medical scribe company specializing in services for emergency departments, urgent cares, in-patient hospitalists, and private practices for Middle Tennessee. We are physician owned and managed. As physicians, our objective is to help our providers focus on medical care instead of documentation. Our company helps physicians provide unparalleled care to their patients.

We recognize the unique time requirements of an electronic medical record, and we’ve created this solution to manage those needs along with the patient’s desire for their provider’s undivided attention. We have a comprehensive training program which includes medical terminology, HIPPA, and ICD-10, as well as extensive department and flow training. We are continuously focusing on improving the efficiency, profitability, and productivity of our clinical partners. We recognize the importance of having a turn-key solution for your medical scribe needs, and we are always available to make adjustments in coverage, scheduling, or documentation.

Meet Our CEO
Dr. Arthur Smolensky

Dr. Arthur Smolensky, MD, MS, FACEP, is the founder and CEO of Premier Scribes. Dr. Smolensky is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and has been practicing emergency medicine for over a decade. After training at University of Arizona and serving as both a partner and the Human Resources Director with Scottsdale Emergency Associates, Dr. Smolensky moved to Nashville in June 2015 to become a partner with Middle Tennessee Emergency Physicians. When he arrived at Saint Thomas, he quickly realized the need for a solution to the excessive charting burden that his colleagues faced in the busiest emergency department in the state. Since 2016, Premier Scribes has been providing scribing services to physicians at three area hospitals and multiple specialty clinics.

When not practicing emergency medicine or working with Premier Scribes, Dr. Smolensky enjoys spending time with his wife Kirsten and their three wonderful children.
